Build your store team with confidence

Give teammates their own access, understand staff seats, and keep store ownership clear.

A teammate should be able to help without using the owner’s login. Separate accounts make handoffs easier and let you remove access when someone leaves. Start with the people who need to do regular work in the store.

01 / Understand your staff seats

Growth includes 3 staff accounts and Premium includes 10. The store owner has a separate seat. Staff access becomes available after the paid plan has been activated for the store.

Pending invitations reserve seats too. If there is no space for a new teammate, review existing members and pending invitations before inviting someone else.

02 / Invite the right email

Open Staff & permissions in Settings and enter the teammate’s email address. Create the invitation, copy its link, and share it directly with that person.

The teammate must sign in with the invited email and verify it before accepting. Invitation links expire after 7 days. If an invitation is no longer needed, revoke it instead of leaving it pending.

A note for Klyro users

Klyro currently creates a shareable invitation link. It does not automatically email the invitation, so remember to send the link yourself.

03 / Make responsibilities clear

Staff can work with orders, products, collections, inventory, and customers. The owner manages staff access, billing, store settings, and storefront themes.

Klyro currently has owner and staff access levels. Agree on responsibilities within the team as well: who checks orders, who receives stock, and who answers customer questions. A clear routine prevents two people from doing the same task or assuming the other person has done it.

  • Give each teammate their own account.
  • Explain the order and stock-update routine.
  • Agree on who handles each daily task.
  • Keep billing and ownership decisions with the owner.

04 / Review access regularly

Review the team list when someone changes roles or leaves. Remove access that is no longer needed and revoke unused invitations. Avoid keeping a shared login as a backup.

Check the current plan and staff limit before changing plans. Access can be paused when staff fall outside the active plan’s allowance. Keeping the team list current makes those changes easier to manage.

TAKE THIS WITH YOU

Use individual accounts and review access whenever the team changes.
